There are numerous services offering free introductory PC-Phone calling, but most are in NA, Europe and east Asia. For example, MediaRing Talk is offering Free 10 minute calls to 8 countries as introductory offer, but not to India. But their PC-Phone rates to India are only 5 cents/min $US: http://www.mediaringtalk.com CallCentric is another VoIP service with PC-Phone calling with rates to India at 7 cents/min (link through my profile). Not free, but low cost.
