Can I get Sky HD and red button services with a Virgin Media cable line?
-
I currently have Virgin Media for TV, phone and broadband. I don't have a BT landline. I wanted to upgrade with Virgin to get Virgin Plus HD but it seems a bit expensive. So I thought I could keep my phone and broadband with Virgin Media, but scrap their TV package and go with Sky and get their Sky Plus HD TV package with nothing else. That would also mean I can then get the HD channels on Sky Sports which I couldn't get with Virgin. However, I'm not sure whether the red button / interactive services or HD channels would work without having a BT landline installed? Is it possible to get this to work with the Virgin cable telephone line??
