What is Women's Charter?

Having trouble with Charter internet, can you help?

  • I have Charter internet, cable and telephone. The internet will go down in the morning, stay down all day and then come back up at about 8pm. It has been doing this for several days. I put in a service request to Charter and the only repsonse I got was to disconnect all cables and then connect them again in a certain order (I think this is the standard reply for this issue), it still does not work. Sometimes for no reason, the telephone will disconnect only to connect again about an hour later. I have not had any problems with the television other than I get some tiled screens for a couple of seconds (these times are few and far between). I am thinking of switching to AT&T DSL and telephone and keeping only the Charter television. What do you guys think, should I switch or just stick it out with Charter? Also does anyone know if Charter would charge me a fee for terminating the internet and telephone services. I am just so sick of the frustration with these two.

  • Answer:

Looks as if you are in the US although your question appears in UK section so I'm not the best person to try to answer! Contact Charter and ask them about possible termination fee. I don't think you should stick it out if you're not getting good service. However, beware of going from the frying pan to the fire. If there's a cable fault you may get the same problem even if you change supplier!
