Where is FiOS in Philadelphia?

How to get Verizon Fios where I live?

  • Basically there 3 internet where I live Dial Up only old people use this then there is SHITY comcast which I am using now always goes down for 2 hours a day even after they installed fiber optics. Last godly Fios basically. when I say comcast its crap its crap less then a meg speed and its always down ever day. I have yelled at them so many times they don't answer me unless I use *67 if Fios is not offer in my area how go I get them to consider to put it there I know if they put it here all my neighbors and everyone that lives in the area will switch that's' guaranteed 100 customers. I have used Fios at my friends house and he gets around 25 megs on a bad day 47-50 on a good clear day.

  • Answer:

You'd have to go to Verizon.com and put in your phone number first to actually see if FI-OS is offered in your area regardless if you know this or not, one you get the screen where it says it's unavailable in your area, you should be able to click on a link or be able to e-mail someone to request this option in your area so that way when they "do" get that "100" people on this list, they might actually take the time and money to put this service in your area. I had to deal with this exact same problem at a previous job that only could get dial-up, I know the feeling because I couldn't even get Verizon DSL at that time either. Hope this helps, if not you can always call and let customer service know also~! Good Luck.
