Why does Mathematica give an incorrect answer to this multiple integral?

Why Do The Calculators in Computers and Phones not give the correct answer when you have to find out the %?

  • When you put 25/50 and press the % sign on a normal calculator it will give you the answer as 50 which is correct but on a calculator on phones and laptops when you do 25/50 and press the % sign it gives the answer as 12.5 which is incorrect

  • Answer:

You have a funny instruction set? 25 divided by 50 does equal .500. 50% of 25 is 12.5. Since I have an HP, my entry sequence is different, but if I start with 25 I can put 50 and press one or the operand keys and get either .500 or 12.5 for the / and the % keys.

Other answers

how do you figure that 50% of 25 is 50? the computer is giving you the proper answer of 12.5 which is 50% of 25! perhaps you are entering your question into the calculator wrong... what you are asking the calculator to do is 25 divided by 50% a computer is nothing more than a huge expensive calculator... everything that a computer does is a mathematical equation
