Phone code when calling us to uk?

  • Hey....Sorry for all these questions lately about phoning us/uk! You guys are all really helpful though and I cant figure it out by myself so here I am again! Ok so Ive asked what code I needed to call the us from the uk and the answer was 001 :) Now I need to know what code someone needs when calling from the us TO the uk? So what code would they put in front of my phone number to make the call work? Thanks in advance.

    If you're using a Landline. 011 44 then drop the first 0 off the UK area code. i.e London 02012345678 becomes 011 44 2012345678 If you're calling from a Cellphone: Hold down the 0 till you see the + symbol then just add 44 afterwards. i.e +44 2012345678

It depends where in the UK, like im in sheffield so my code is 0114 but its different for every city
