How to record phone calls?

How can I record calls that come through my phone?

• Recently, me and my wife have had some problems lately with our phones. When we called Verizon, they promised us new phones outright, but when they didn't call us back, we called them. They denied ever even talking to us. I have a card on my computer with two phone jacks. I was wondering if there was software that I could get, preferably free, that would play a prerecorded disclaimer before the phone call commenced and would act as an in-line phone recorder, so that we could have a little evidence next time someone tried to pull this kind of bull on us.
