How To Locate Landline Number?

How can I keep my landline number but ditch the landline service?

  • Given that I have a Sprint mobile phone it seems like it would be possible to use Google Voice to accomplish this somehow. But I would need to connect my home phone to a tower of sort that links with my cell service. I'm struggling with the logistics of this. At the end of the day I would like to keep my cell number and landline number (for the home phone) because lots of people/entities have those numbers to contact us.

    I have Verizon Wireless and last summer they offered their Home Connect device for $10 a month that uses my cell minutes. They also have a plan that gives you unlimited service for $19.99. I see that Sprint has a similar device called Phone Connect for $19.99 in a 2 year agreement. It lets you port your landline to the device.
