We have had expensive phones and cheap phones and they both work the same. The problem we used to have was that 1. they would be left off the charger by the teenager. 2. they were destroyed by the teenager!

I would consider only 2 brands. Panasonic and Uniden.

go with Panasonic!! there is are real good sale on righ now at Taget!! aslo their batteries last the longest!!! and we all know how much a phone battery costs!!

I agree, Panasonic. Although it's mostly ergonomics..(Almost all cordless phones have the same exact guts!!)
