How do I find my dead phone in my house?

How do I find out if my new house has a phone line installed?

  • Just moved into a new house but I have no idea if it already has a phone line installed. I have not spotted any phone connection in the house. Is there an easy way to find out? Thanks for your help!

    call up BT they have records of all phone lines even if its not with them.

look outside for a telephone wire leading to your house or better still phone your local phone company and ask them as they will have record's of previous tennents.

call your local telephone company and they will tell you, if you cant find the network interace for the phone or any telephone wires comming from the street then probly not,
