What area code should I dial to call to England?

  • ok, im trying to call to england and my friend gave me her HOUSE number in england an it is 7 digits. the area code she gave me is 0044-121 so i dialed it and it worked. first i dialed 0044-121+the house number and it worked immediatly im calling from my cellphone from chicago my problem is that she gave me her CELL phone number and it is 11 digits long so i tryed to call it and it didnt work. i tryed calling it using 0044+cell phone number, it didnt work then i tryed 0044-121+ cell phone number that didnt work then i tryed 121+cell phone number that didnt work then i tryed 0-121+cell phone number that didnt work then i tryed 00-121+ cell phone number that didnt work i even tryed calling the number without using an area code that didnt work PLEASE is there anyone out there that can help me find a way to call her cell number thank you! oh, and she has 2 different cellphones so i tryed them both and they both didnt work with the area codes i tryed. thank you this means alot to me thanks again!

To get out of the states u need to call 011 44 then code for London.. Just remove the zero from the London area code. 011 = to get out of the US 44 = England country code for example : 011 + 44 + 7??? ??? ???
