How do you hook up a fax machine to Vonage?

I need Help with new phone and how to hook up fax to it!!?

• I bought a new phone for my household. It came with one main phone with a answering machine and three wireless phones. I have Verizon DSL as my phone and internet provider. I have one land line phone. Ever since I hooked up my new phone my fax machine does not work. My fax machine is suppose to work like this: when there is an incoming call and it is a fax, it is suppose to go straight to the fax machine. But now it does not happen ever since I got my new phone. Do I have to contact Verizon about this issue or does anyone know how I can make my fax machine work with my new phone?

  fax set to "fax/tel" setting phone jack connected to the "line" connection on the back of the fax phone connected to the "phone" or "ext" port on the back of the fax... using separate jacks for the fax and phone are not going to work for the fax machine to do the switching for you... dsl filter should be placed between jack and fax machine... not needed between fax and telephone..
