How do you block calls from public services?

How can I block collect calls from main jail on my Verizon phone services?

  • My Step Daughter's boyfriend got arrested again and we had told her if this happend again and she accepted collect calls from him while he was locked up again we were goin to change the number, But we know that won't work, So I would like some help and see if any one knows how to block inmate or jail or ect,ect..from this company named Global Tel- Link?

    I install jail phones, but for a different provider. Call Global Tel-Link and have them remove your number from the valid call list. Call your telco business office and have them block all collect calls. MOST jails do not have a "call plan", the inmates are allowed ONLY collect calls, there are no prepaid accounts. Jail phones are very profitable for the county and the phone provider, they do not allow prepaid so that they can charge the highest possible rate allowed by the FCC.

normally collect calls from correction facilities are blocked by default from your local telephone service provider, and you normally need to call to set up a pre-paid account, or to allow collect calls from correctional facilities.. if these calls are not currently being blocked, then you can call your local telephone service provider and have them block this type of call...

Just call up Verizon customer service, ask them to trace that phone number to block it It would be fitting for you tell them that you want this entire Global Tel Link companies number blocked
