Do you get charged for incoming international calls?

Does a canadians get charged for incoming calls from the US?

  • my friend from new york called me and we talked for a good 2 hours. I'm with ROGERS and my plan offers me 1000 free incoming minutes and I was wondering, do these 1000 minutes count with incoming calls from the US? I'm too worried if I might pay long distance? answer ASAP! I'm from canada by the way.

  • Answer:

If ROGERS means mobile, then incoming means INCOMING. Any incoming call will use up your minutes, it doesn't matter where the call came from. If ROGERS means land line, like the category you asked in, then no, in North Americal the caller pays for the call unless it's to a toll free number or the caller has a plan that allows free calling.
