Why does my LCD screen turn off on its own?

How can i turn a LCD screen into a Small tv?

Okay im bored and i really want to past time. i was a while ago so i took apart my old PSP and i have the LCD screen. (this is the LCD screen compared to battery http://s1000.photobucket.com/albums/af125/Corkid/?action=view&current=NewImages.jpg.) So if you have any way i can put a video, Tv, or still image on this please tell me.

If you have LCD only , you will have to build the rest of TV. I would say it is almost imposible. The best way would be if you left your PSP complete and bought DIGITAL TV TUNER FOR PSP see http://www.engadget.com/2007/09/21/sony-psp-1-seg-digital-tv-tuner-hands-on/ and look it up on e-bay. The next best thing is to sell PSP for parts
