    use a neighbor..and just some tips: Go outside or to your basement. There is a smal grey or brown box that says telephone network interface device. This is where most servide providers guarantee their service to. There is a customer test jack. Unplug the wire going into it then plug in a phone. If here is no dialtone, its an outside trouble and most phone co. will fix free of charge. If there is a dialtone there, its an inside trouble. You could try toi unplug everything and plug it back in...but if you dont have an inside repair contract on your account, you will be billed for inside repairs. (Verizon charges 91$ first 30 mins and 46$ each addtl.)

well the numbers are different per state but the general number is 18002882020 and say "repair" you can also go to att.com/repair
