How can I control my time?

How can I control my home phone (numbers called/received, time limit, etc)?

  • I have a 15 y.o. daughter who is out of control on the phone (talking @all hours, talking to people {boys or men} I don't know, talking for hours, etc.). Can I get a home phone (perhaps just one that she can use) that will allow this control?

  • Answer:

    the only way you have total control over it is a callerID manager.....it records all incoming and outgoing calls......and you also can set/program the numbers you want blocked....that's incoming and outgoing, which includes all long distance phone-calls....

the caller ID manager would be good... another method would be to find the wire that feeds the jack going to her room.. and disconnect that line from the NID, either permantly, or durring times you do not want her using the phone...

i dont accually think so.. but im not sure.. but what you can do.. is take the phone away from her. @ a certain time of the night.. or un hook it.. !! my parents used to do this to me.. cuz i was outta control.. im 24 and still outta control on the phone..lol.. !!!! So it wont change.. but at least you have some sort of control..
