Can someone tell me what Skype is?

  • Can someone please tell me what skype is??? i heard it was free now..ill only download it if people can call your computer from a cell or landline..is that possible..just explain what it is! THANKS!!

    if you have a headset you can call people. cell and landline. you can also video chat with people. i downloaded it and i chat with my friends and out of state family all the time. video chat is free im not sure about the calls.

Basically you have to have a computer camera and you just talk on the computer but the other person has to have a camera to yea u can use it from a phone hopes this helps!
