Will I be charged long-distance charges for sending a fax to a long-distance fax number?

  • I have an all-in-one printer that has a built-in fax machine. I've used the fax machine several times to send out faxes to local fax numbers but never long-distance fax numbers. I don't have free-long distance on my phone line, so will I be charged long-distance charges for sending out a fax to a long-distance fax number?

Yes you will be charged. However, if you have an all in one device and dont want to pay long distance charges, why not scan your documents and then email them?
