How do you hide caller ID?

  • hi im from england and I just want to know how to hide your number when you ring someone so they dont no who you are...please answer the question :) Remember it has to be english x

    Generally, if your with BT , you can put 141 in front of the number your dialling. Think this will work with other phone companies as well, but might be worth checking with them. If your on about mobile phones, you should be able to go through the settings menu on your phone to the caller ID option and "hide" your number.

Its 141 for the one particular call. However, you cant have ''permanent withold of number'' on your line. as in you'll always come up as number witheld (unless you dial 1470 before the call)

which phone mobile is easy there is an option to make your no. private but home tel no. you need to dial 141 before the number I think check with BT.

well in the united states people use *67 to block their number from showing up. Im not sure about where u live but try asking the phone company about that.
