Check out DSLReports.com for all the info on VOIP providers. Vonage does a lot of advertising, but might not be as good as others. Sunrocket is another company that I've used and had no problems with.

Vonage is not a new phone company. It is the oldest and the best VoIP provider available in market. They have great features and great service.

my mom has it, but u have to have cable internet that they run it through. It is just like a regular phone, except it is a little cheaper.
