Smart Travel phone calls?

I have this rea landline us phone number and i want to travel outside usa,how can i receive calls abroad?

  do you have access to the land line? you could set up a linksys SPA3102 connect the line side to your land line phone, then set it up to hotdial a SIP URI or an international telephone number of where you will be located (would probably be cheaper if you used a local VoIP provider for the country where you will have the calls forwarded to) for the cell phone I would just forward that number to the land line number... google voice would not work outside of the US... BUT... if you were to get an OBi110 then you would be able to use it as an ATA for your google voice account, and you would just need to forward the land line and cell numbers (or port them over) to google voice
