I keep seeing BT line and Sky line on the Sky adverts, whats the diffrence
-
Answer:
Both are supplied by and connected by BT Openreach the cable maintainence people. The line goes to the exchange. At the exchange, BT Openreach connect it to either BT Retail (the phone people) equipment or Sky Telephone equipment (Sky Line) It is upto you if you pay for your line rental via BT or via Sky So you can pay the line rental via BT (BT line) but be connected to Sky equipment
