Can I block a specific phone number on my magic jack?

If your Magic Jack is lost or stolen, what happens to your phone number?

• I like the comment about traveling with Magic Jack, but, is your phone number protected if it's lost or stolen? My son is in the military and this would be a big money saver while he is in Europe, but not worth the headache if the phone number is attached to the gizmo.... Thanks to all you tech experts for helping a technically challenged mom!

  the MagicJack number will always be yours, because you have registered this number just for you!! yes, you're right! It;s a big money saver, because you can plug it in anywhere in the world that has High-speed Internet and get an US area-code for free......as long you gotta a dial tone...you can call for free back to the US! .My family and friends use it that way!! also the Soldiers in foreign countries use it, and all their buddies wanted one too, so we send them abroad now!!!! The MJ itself is not resisted , but the number is!!! I tried switching the MJ around and it worked!!! I got it since last year May ....just when the MJ came out in April/07....I had no clue what I was doing.....but I got the number.....combined it with a free number from GrandCentral.com.....one from Florida and one from N.C. so my friends call call for free!! then I went on a big trip abroad....and made all the call from my laptop!!
