How to find who prank called me?

If you call the cops and tell them about it i think they can get a machine to see who it is.

If this is really u bothering you and its that f*#king serious hire a private investgator or call the police they will trace the call back or just get a new freaking number. It might be one of your friends just messing with you

calling from a landline you can asked the phone company about tracing calls. They have to have 3 successful traces and then you would be required to file a complaint with the police. After that they will send a letter to the caller saying if they call you again they will be prosecuted. By law they can not give you the phone number calling you but they can arrange to block it for you. If you use a cell phone they your carrier will have to look up your phone records. They should be able to see this and block the number and/or send a letter also.

you have to report it,get a court order for phone company to 'trap' your line,all calls are printed out at the company,when the call comes in get the time,report it to the police,they will get in touch with your company and all is over with,they have the person who called you

*69 the last number and if it's busy then you know it was a solicitor.

you can put a code on your phone that blocks private calls, people have to dial *82 before they can call you. check the inside of your phone book for details, I did it years ago and somehow some telemarketers get through but I don't answer any calls that say private.
