How can i change the greeting message on my answering machine service?

Have an answering machine on my house phone, (1571) and wondered if anyone knew how to change the message instead of it being the default one?? Tried ringing my answering machine, but it just says i have no messages, goodbye

Answer:
Your phone should have an OGM (outgoing message) or ANC(announcement) button. Press and hold this button. You should hear a beep tone then speak to record your announcement. Release the button after recording is completed. Goodluck.
