How easy is it to tap a landline phone..and will there be any way I can tell if it is?

How easy to tap a landline? Very easy. How to find out? That's tricky for someone without any experience. Easiest way is contact the phone company. Any technician with experience can quickly locate a tap, but they will have to enter your home. If that's going to cause a problem with your husband then you have to find another way. If he knows what he's doing you will not easily locate the tap by yourself. They do sell devices that can detect taps on the phone line. Security companies have them, but they are not cheap. So your best bet is the phone company. As for GPS....they have gadgets on the market that can easily track you. They are about 6x8 inches in size and come mounted in a magnetic base so they can be quickly attached to the bottom of your car. They can record your location in memory and read once the device has been recovered. They turn on automatically once your vehicle moves, thus giving it longer battery life. This model only costs a couple hundred dollars. More advanced models allow you to monitor the location over the internet in real time. Scary, isn't it?
