Just Brought an Unlocked Iphone 4? Confused on how to get a new sim card?

So i'm with virgin mobile, pre-paid, my phone atm is virgin locked, and i have a sim card, so i just brought a second hand unlocked iphone 4, and i'm confsued on where to get a new mirco sim, and how to change my number from my old sim to my new sim? I'm also confused as to, can i still recharge the same, and have the same benefits as from my old phone, i normally just get 29 dollars credit a month. Also, you know how you can use your internet on your phone from your carrier, can you still do that even tho i brought an unlocked phone? Thanks for you help.

depeends where you are Virigin Mobile in the US, is a CDMA network, using Sprint towers, and don't take SIM cards.
