What is the best touch screen/full keyboard at&t phone on the market right now?
-
I'm wanting a new phone and I just recently got the unlimited text feature, so of course I want the full keyboard and I also love the touch screen. So, I was wandering what is the best at&t cell phone that has a full keyboard and a touch screen. Any help will be appreciated, even if it's a 'I don't like this phone' type of answer. Thanks in advance!

Working at AT&T as a Sales Rep, I would recommend the iPhone 3g which is only $99 in store, no mail in rebate. It's the easiest, most user friendly phone that we offer. It is also the number one seller in the nation! Its the easiest to find accessories such as cases, chargers, anything! Because of its popularity. The qwerty keypad is also a touch format, not sure if you are wanting buttons or a full touch. Second option I would look for would be the Samsung Eternity - it's had really great feedback and I havent seen one returned yet. But again, it is a full touch screen. Another poster spoke of the Xenon, I can honestly say that we have had some problems with this phone, and I always try to get customers to choose another phone - ive seen to many returned, I'm just trying to save them the trouble. And you of course! :) The LG Vu is crap. Period. The Samsung Impression has an organic screen which gives it a great color display, and it has a nice big touchscreen interface and a slide out qwerty keypad, this one has been very popular, but it does have a nice heft price tag. Still cheaper that some of the PDA/Smart phones. HTC Fuze is an okay phone. I carried that one for a while. It's a very complicated, in depth phone. It requires a stylus but does have a slide out keypad. I never liked it, but I think less is more. Your best bet would be to stop by an AT&T Corporate store and just play with the phones, they are all live so you can make test calls, access the internet, send a text message, etc. Speak with your rep and ask them questions! They will be able to put you in the phone that would best suit your needs. But I would recommend the iPhone! It's #1 for a reason!
