I just wanted to know whats the difference between Mobile Web browsing and Web browsing. Is there a difference?

In Mobile web(wap) sites .wml markup language is used for simple understanding of page format by mobile wap browser. Where as in web sites generally Html or Xhtml alot of formats are used which cant be recognised by mobile wap browsers. Most of the mobile wap browsers supports wap n html under Tcp(compressing the html) Hence Search Engines like google, yahoo provide searches for both individually
