Alex, You can obtain and place full movies on your EVO following a few bits of information. 1) The movies need to be in the MP4 (MPEG-4) and (I believe) 3GP. I know from experience MP4 works, but I read somewhere 3GP also works. 2) You'll need a conversion program to convert movies from other formats, such as AVI, MPEG, MPG, WMV, FLV, MOV, etc. The program I use is: PSPVC (PSP Video Converter). While this Windows application originally was for the Sony PSP, its output works with iPhone and Android devices. The key when using it is to select the conversion format that best suits your device (e.g. resolution, compression, quality, etc). 3) You have several choices when putting the MP4 formatted movie on your Android device. There are file transfer programs (FTP using Wifi, Bluetooth, 3G, 4G, etc). In the case of the EVO 4G, you can use an USB cable and have the SD-Card look like an USB drive. I've been using the USB Drive method for the most part. I place the movies in the "Videos" directory and create subdirectories to help organize the various movies. Recently, I started trying out the FTP methods using Wifi, 3G, 4G, and Bluetooth. They work very well and are useful when you're further away than the USB cable from a desktop / laptop computer. 4) As for obtaining the movie to convert (in step #2), again you have several choices. You can buy or borrow DVD movies and then Decrypt and RIP them using applications found on the Internet. Another choice is to run a P2P program, such as Shareaza to find and download entire movies. You can use an application called a News Reader to access the Usenet Newsgroups. Many of these newsgroups are binary groups containing movies. The newsreader will locate the movies combining the parts and then decoding them into the entire movie. There are also websites that for a charge have already found these movies on Usenet and processed them (e.g. downloaded, combined the parts, and decoded them into binary movie files).
