Most mobile phones do not yet support the flash player, even if they are WAP enabled. Those that do tend to come with a version of the player pre-installed. I don't know much about your particular mobile, but I would imagine that if it doesn't already have the player on it and you can't download it from here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ ...then your phone won't currently support it. Going to that link on your mobile and clicking "install" will work if you have a mobile that supports it - if it doesn't work, your mobile isn't flash ready. Don't worry, you're not alone. I'm a flash designer by trade and I'm constantly being asked this question by my clients. I'm sure that Adobe will get on the case soon (they're already discussing a version of the player for the iPhone). As for why you are seeing messages telling you to install the player, well that's what flash designers call "alternative content". Basically its just a load of bumpf that is displayed when the flash player is not installed - some designers put full text only versions of websites as the alternative content, other lazier designers just put "you must install the flash player to view this website". If you're still in doubt, go back to your mobile phone provider and ask them if your phone is capable of viewing flash sites - if it is they will be able to install the player in the shop. To be honest though, its not looking likely. Hope that helps!
