What can you do after you get your g1?

Iphone 3g vs. G1 what should I get?

  • I own a G1 from T-mobile and I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Mostly because it doesnt have any good games also because the G1 isn't solid and feels very breakable. To add onto it the screen isnt as responsive as I thought and its ugly. headphones have to be USB. T-mobile doesnt have much 3g coverage and is spotty with the normal coverage. The graphics on te iphone 3g are much better. The OS feels the robotic and freezes when the Iphones is so easy and fluidlike. The OS reminds me of Vista:very buggy! I want to switch to the iphone while I still have the buyers remorse option. People are saying that the G1 Market will have better apps later but all the games now really suck. I feel like the G1 might get better later and I might regret getting the Iphone 3g but If I still dont like it later then I would regret getting the Iphone while I still had the option. I dont want and bias answers. What would you do if you were in this situation. Iphone or G1?

  • Answer:

iPhone is the best but G1 is not bad either. Somebody said iPhone doesn't have Bluetoorh which is wrong. It does have but you cant transfer files through Bluetooth but BT is obsolete tech and Apple is futuristic. It has better file transfer tech You can transfer any file from any computer or vice versa from any where in the world without any cable or wire connection. And Motorola makes stereo BT headset for iPhone so what you need BT for. You can print anything right off iPhone. iPhone is the most advanced phone it has over 10,000 apps. Google has potential but Google is the one that is making great apps for Apple iPhone. Google and Apple are allies since long.

ok i'm definatly an apple guy, i just think there products are more efficient and they so much better, its a lot smoother and its funner and eaisier to use. as soon as iphone came out EVERYone made a touch screen phone, but none of them get it... its not about just touching the screen, on the iphone you can FEEL it.

I have an ipod touch and my friend has the G1. the ipod touch is practically the same as iphone. Honestly I like the iphone better cuz its less clumpy and it handles better. the games on the G1 are better because of it's buttons but the iphone has better apps

I would say stick with the G1. You would be wasting a lot of money if you try to get out of a contract and sign up for one that's even more expensive. If you wan't games buy a PSP or a DS

if i was in your situation, i think that i would go for the iphone. personally, i'm not a huge fan of iphones. it's not really that i don't like them, but just that i don't think they're worth the huge monthly bills. but overall, it is a good phone. i have never used a g1, but i've heard from people that it is big and ugly and not a very good phone overall - it's slow. the iphone is fast, but not extremely fast. it still lags a bit and the touch screen isn't that responsive either. i do the think the iphone is a better purchase than a g1.
