How do I transfer music to a phone?

How can I transfer a music (mp3) file to my Motorazr V3m mobile phone from my PC?

  • I want to transfer a music file from my PC to my Motorazr V3m mobile phone and use it as a ringer tone. How can I do that? I couldn't find anything in this regard in phone's booklet. Thanks in advance

    You have to get the software drivers from Motorola - That costs $$$. But the A/C adaptor port in the cell phone is actually a USB 2.0 port. You can plug a USB 2.0 cable into the A/C adaptor place, and connect the other end of the cable to your computer. Once you have the motorla drivers, you should be able to transfer music from your PC to your phone.

Best and easiest way is by bluetooth. Great for photos too.

If you have the cable that was included with your phone and the software, simply install the software and plug in the phone. It has a program that is very simple to use.

Bluetooth is the easiest, but doesn't the V3M have a memory chip slot in it. If it does you could transfer files from a computer onto the chip and put it into the phone. If you go the usb cable route you can find the usb drivers at www.hacktherazr.com then you could download motorola software update and P2KCommander and put the files into a/shared/motorola/ then its either named audio or sounds folder
