How to unlock an att prepaid phone (already have unlock code)?

• i got one of those crappy prepaid att phones but i have tmoblie i got a new sim card activated and i got the unlock code for the phone from att, but whenever i put the new sim in, all it does is comes up with a screen that says "wrong sim" with no other options besides a "SOS" call. its a flip samsung if it matters. 10 points if you get my phone working

  My phone had that same kind of problem. It came up with a screen that said "wrong sim" with no other options when you failed to enter your code for unlocking it several times. So, the only thing to solve this problem is going to ATT or T-mobile store for the service person to remove your code. I don't think you have to pay for it. And, I know that it is a pain in the neck, but you have to go if you want to have your phone working again.
