Can I take Cigarettes from England to USA?

If i take a UK mobile phone to the USA how much will it cost to text [or call] a mobile in england?

    It will be enormous. You will be incurring international roaming fees. Unless you can unlock your phone and use it with a prepaid US sim, leave the phone at home and get a cheap prepaid in the US.

We would recommend you to unlock your phone and use the local GSM network at low cost.There can be many ways to Unlock your phone. As far as i know unlocking by codes is the simple and safe way. I will suggest the website http://www.unlock-zone.com/ which is doing good service and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums. I used them to unlock my cell phone. contacted them and within 30 mins i had my unlock code and my phone was unlocked. Hope this helps.
