Can a cell phone get a virus?

Yes, if you can receive Email or browse the Internet with your cell phone, it can get a virus.

I think they can .. did'nt some one hack into paris hiltons phone.. But you know your cell phone can also really make you sick, you need to disinfect it once in a while. I would ask your phone retailer, maybe they can help you rid your self of the problem in the phone . Maybe your warrenty covers a new phone.

That happened to me one time! However, the im was from a friend, so i don't think it had to do with something they sent. But I took my phone to cingular, where they told me i had to send it in because it had some type of lock where the "brain" or whatever is in a phone was mixed up. You may want to take it in though, my phone never corrected itself. Good Luck!

The newer your cell phone is, the easier it can get a virus because alot of newer cell phones these days are practically running on software like your computer does.

yeah it can, but it can freeze if u press the buttons 2 fast

I don't think its a virus, but rather your phone not being capable of opening the application you received. Cell phones can't receive viruses.
