Why cant i recive files on my blackberry bluetooth ?

  • I have the blackberry curve 8520 and i used to be able to receive and send files on my blackberry through bluetooth . Now , this haas stopped , i can send files but i cant receive them .When i try to receive things through bluetooth it automatically says failed to send .My bluetooth is sent to discoverable and i have m ade sure my bluetooth is on . Could anybody give me some hints on how to get my bluetooth up and running back to normal thanks

    It has happened to me before, I was trying to send a music file. The trick is to go to media, bring up options and look for "RECEIVE USING BLUETOOTH". Unlike other cell phones, for blackberry one has to receive the item via bluetooth each time. On the recipient's BlackBerry smartphone On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, select Media. Select a media type (Music, Video, Ring Tones, Pictures). Press the Menu button and select Receive using Bluetooth. The File Transfer dialog box appears, followed by a prompt to Save or Cancel the file. Select Save to save the file to the current location, or select the folder icon to save the file in a different location. Check out this link:
