Is Verizon a CDMA or a GSM network?

Can i use the blackberry storm with verizon and another network if i have the 9530.?

  • I was thinking of buying the blackberry 9530 with CDMA and GSM receptors and i would like to know if i can either use both networks simultaneously or if i can use verizon and later another gsm network. Thanks

    ok well no the CDMA network stays the CMDA network you can't change it to HSM latter on simply put CMDA no sim cards GSM sim cards
