Can you put a tracfone sim card in an unlocked phone?

I have a cingular phone and plan. If i buy an unlocked motorola can I just put my sim card in it?

  • I was going to buy a motorola razr online. It is unlocked. Will I just be able to put my sim card into the phone? Will I have to get a new sim card? how does this work?

    If it is unlocked (are you sure?) then it will work when u put a sim card in it. of course the old one will not work when the sim card is taken out of it.....but you knew that, right?

yes you can. but if the razr has a different company, like verizon or something, then it wont work because on the little sim card should be a picture of that little orange dude and it won't go in another phone that is different. all sim cards fit in the same phone if it is the same company.
