PSP battery drains fast?

Boost Mobile ZTE Warp battery drains really fast?

  • I bought a brand new ZTE Warp phone from Best Buy yesterday (for Boost Mobile) and I played with it in the car before going home to activate it. Last night I downloaded a bunch of apps, added a pretty wallpaper, and I let it fully charge overnight. I unplugged it around 11 today and it had drained to 27% by 2pm. Is there anyway I can save my battery? Or is my battery just bad? I have the task killer app installed and I always kill apps and I have the brightness very low. This is just pathetic...I need some help!

  • Answer:

There's a likelihood that the task killer app could be the cause of your battery drainage, aswell as a combination of the many apps you downloaded. Sounds like you should look into downloading an antivirus program & identifying which apps are causing constantly running programs that can kill your battery very quickly, aswell as malware & a combination of nonstop activity like certain widgets you've enabled. Also, note that so-called battery-savers & task killers are & can be the biggest culpit for heightened battery drainage & do not mistake "killing an app" for "turning it off", because this feature does not prevent that app from running entirely, & is best used when something is going wonky & you are troubleshooting, in fact, as mentioned it could be very likely adding to your quickly diminishing battery drainage, so it's good to know the difference. One of the best things you can do, is start looking through your widgets & programs, & start turning off the ones that are killing your battery, aswell as uninstalling certain apps.

Download "Advanced Task Killer" from the Android Market and before you charge open up the app and it should show a list of apps that you have left running. Click the button at the top, I think it says "kill all apps" then all the previous apps. Also, if you have a live background get rid of that and choose something else. Lower screen brightness as well. Hope this helps :-)
