Which is better sidekick slide or sidekick LX?

i want to know if the sidekick LX is better than the sidekick slide. I have had the slide before and i loved it but im thinking about getting an LX, but i heard that the swivel screen can sometimes short out. I would also like to know if the LX has any different features. thanks.
