Can I buy a pre-prepaid cell phone in Germany?

Making and receiving calls on my cell phone while abroad? How do I do this?

• Okay... I'm going to Germany for 1 week. I have a Nation wide Motorola Cingular cell phone. I need to be able to call my parents in the States and call places in Germany. I am going to buy a calling card to avoid high rates.... but I need to know how to call using the card and my cell phone( Like is there a special code???) And I need to know if my paren'ts will be able to call me???? And if so, what will they need to dial? Let's say my numbers is 444-444-4444.... how would my parents have to dial that to call me in Germany? Please help.... I leave in a week so I need to know soon

  If your phone has roaming capabilities in Germany then your parents can call your phone as if you were in the US. They will have to dial only: 444-444-4444. Your long distance card will have a special number to dial and a pin and/or serial code to enter, to make phone calls from Germany. hopes this helps
