How to Block a number from texting a Muve Music Cricket Cell Phone?

I can't find it in the books or the internet and I really need to figure it out. I don't want to change my number though. My mom's ex boy friend is a sick perve and won't leave me alone and keeps texting me non stop telling me about his days and nights with my mom. Only reason he has my number is because my mom borrowed my phone to call him about child support on my sister. *Not my dad!* Its a Muve Music CricKet Cell Phone. Already blocked his calls which I can do with my phone but not texting. Any help or realistic suggestions other than changing my number and reporting him would be appreciated. Thank you.
