So how does the vibration in a phone actually work?

How come submerged cell phones still work after being dried?

  • I can't find information as to why they work after they get fully dried, as to how to make them work. I submerged submerged my Kyocera K312P into a Jacuzzi for about a minute before realizing it was with me. I felt the vibration from it shorting out and instantly took out the battery and placed it somewhere dry. Then I let it dry out for two days, then placed it into the dryer with a magnetic cellphone case so that it keeps connected to the dryer wall so it doesn't tumble and an hour and a half later after the phone was cooled down, I turned it on and it worked. everything, but one button was working. I know solutions for dropping cell phones in water is all over the internet, but there isn't anything telling people as to why they work after being dried. Some people's buttons stop working all together, while others don't lose anything, so why is that. Did cellphone manufactures make cellphones have a protective shut off system so that they can be saved? or am I thinking way into it?

  • Answer:
