My blackberry storm from overseas wont work with orange pay as u go sim card. its unlocked. what do i do?

its an unlocked vodafone blackberry storm from West Africa and i previously connected to an African network with no problems. on arrival in the UK, i purchased an orange pay as u go sim card only with blackberry email but it wont work with my phone. but other simcards eg tmobile etc work with it, but tmobile does not offer a pay as u go service for sim only with blackberry features. What do i do?
