Which phone should I Get? Sony Ericsson W705 Or Nokia 5800?

The two phones are really very different The Nokia 5800 is a touch screen phone, and has 8gb internal memory So if you're looking for a touch-screen phone with features somehow similar to the iPhone and a large memory , go for the Nokia 5800 If you prefer a nice powerful non-touch-screen phone, go for the W705

ill go to 5800 cause i dream of a touchscreen phone. but i hate nokia.haha

I would go for the W705, the phone is just great! (using it for 2 weeks now) and won't dissapoint you!

If money is not matter for you. Features & specifications are almost same for both the models. But the only difference is Nokia 5800 is touch screen and W705 not. definitely the 5800 is better... i have kind of a dilemma between these two brands, since nokia is usually better having symbian s60 and such a wide range of devices...but i still love my old sony ericsson and i am so used to it and with the way the menu looks like and everything, it's closer to my heart...:)) but between those two models there's no question, you should get a 5800, that phone is amazing, having such an affordable price an offering so much... it's definitely better than the iphone in terms of hardware...since for the software...it is still to be decided, but if i wear you i would go for it... you haven't asked about the iphone, but since it is such a popular device every other one it is to be compared with it... i wouldn't buy one, at least not the current model because, the 3g because of the extraordinary poor hardware...it has got nothing!!!!! the os x is good though, the only thing that brought such an enormous popularity to the iphone...otherwise there are much more better devices out on the market right now from nokia, sony ericsson or htc, especially htc but there is still hope, this summer the new one will be out in stores, let's hope for a more competitive device anyway, i trust you make the right decision cause before everyone else, you should like it, since you;re gonna buy it and use it... please answer mine http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090508110437AAvqG2s i wanna buy a nokia myself, but i havent made up my mind yet xoxo

I would suggest you go for SE W705...Nokia 5800 phone is a great phone with really great features but its OS has many bugs which results in the freezing of the phone...W705 has all the features which 5800 has plus great music quality which walkman series is known for...

if u wanna talk about the specs and the options u wanna have in ur phone for the prize u pay then nokia is still on the lead than any other phone manufacturer ... so i recommend u the nokia 5800 ... a nokia will never let u down from looks and options ...

I'd ask at the store to have a play with both of them, Its what YOU feel comfortable with, after all, you have to put up with it for 18 months or whatever it is, and its YOUR money aswell. Good Luck x
