• I've had my Nokia 5300 for almost a year. The day after I got it, a friend of mine handled it roughly and the screen cracked. It was a minor crack that only cosmetically altered the phone, but over time, the screen cracked further and now it's about to fall off entirely. I've heard (and experienced) that Nokia doesn't cover this type of thing in their warranty, which I can live with. I've also heard that my problem seems to be pretty common among 5300 owners. I'm not sure where to look to find a replacement screen, or how to replace it, and any help would be appreciated, as my phone is pretty much a necessity and I'm in a state of panic.

  I have seen that before. Two of my friends had the same problem. One of them called Nokia and they sent a replacement unit within two days (you have to send the cracked one back once u get the new unit). I think they know about the problem because it is happening to too many 5300 users, and will accept the unit if it isn't abused very bad. I hope u get a replacement. Read the complaints below to see how many people had the same exact problem, and majority of them got a replacement.
