Emoji app for iphone?

So i have a unlocked iphone 3GS t-mobile and i have the emoji app and my friend has iphone 4 and A t & t n emoji too so when my friend send me like faces or whatever i can see it fine but when i send it all they get is * ?? was wondering was up with that anyone know? Thanks!

That's really weird. I think your best solution is to use an alternate messaging apk suchbas textfree to see if it works there. I you can also just download a different emoji apk and see if works. Some Apps are ripoff.
