Can someone tell me how to download music onto my Slvr L7?

i bought it off ebay unlocked and it does not have itunes on it. I was told you are supposed to do it through the memory card if you don't have itunes. When i plug my USB in the computer the memory card does not show up as removeable disk. Does anyone know a way to put music on that will work?
